On-going Activities in September:

Coffee House Fiddlers Jam Sessions : Every Wednesday, through November, the coffee house fiddlers group will now be meeting at the Little Theatre 9-10am. Everyone is welcome to join in or simply enjoy the music.

Farmers Market : 8am-noon on Saturdays thru September in Holm Park on the Mill Pond, enjoy the chance to purchase fresh produce, home baked goods, and handcrafted items. Updates available on their Facebook.

Coming Soon: Watch for the openings of Rusty Tin Boutique on South Main Street, and Cre8tive Escapes in the Family Eye Center Building.

now through Sept.29 ::: Greg Harp Gallery Show . View the work of New London photographer, Greg Harp, at this solo show on display at the WEAC Gallery, 611 5th St.SW, Willmar during regular building hours.

Thursday, September 18, 6pm ::: LNO Paint by Numbers project. Join the NL Arts Alliance crew at Greenwater Garage to join in the paint-by-number project to create the painted ladies that will be on display to promote Fall Ladies Night Out (Oct.16). It's free to participate -- be sure to wear your painting duds.

Thursday, September 18, 7pm ::: Monroe Crossing Concert . Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and heartfelt originals. Tickets are $17 in advance at Mord's Hardware, New London or Whitney Music, Willmar, or $20 at the door of the New London Little Theatre.

Fri.&Sat., Sept.19& 20 ::: New London Fall Festival. Come out to see all the Fall Fashions and Decor at this annual New London area Merchants event. See the ad grouping in this week's Lakes Area Review newspaper for more info on participants.

Saturday, September 20, 10am-4pm ::: Celebrate Art! Celebrate Coffee!. See many New London area artists -- including potter Bill Gossman, Bead Jam's Laurel Iverson, and 2014 poster artist Violet Dauk -- at this annual art festival held in downtown Willmar, MN. See the CACC website for more info.

Tuesday, September 23, 4-6pm ::: NL Area Food Shelf Five Year Celebration. Enjoy refreshments, entertainment and facility tours. Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food shelf item to donate. The New London Area Food Shelf/The Link is located at 206 Main Street North in New London.

Sept.24-26, 7:30pm ::: Goodnight Desdemona. In this comedy play production, directed by Nikki Betcher Erickson, drab and dusty academic Constance Ledbelly deciphers a cryptic manuscript she believes to be the original source for the Shakespeare tragedies, and is transported into the plays themselves. Performances are held at Glacial Ridge Winery with an $8 ticket price.

Saturday, September 27, noon-6pm ::: Harvest Fest Family Fun Day. Enjoy Autumn activities such as pumpkin painting, apple bobbing, bouncy house and more at Glacial Ridge Winery.

Thursday, October 16, noon-8pm ::: New London Fall Ladies Night Out . Mark your calendars for this popular shopping, dining and entertaing event.
