Coffee House Fiddlers Jam Sessions : Every Wednesday, through November, the coffee house fiddlers group will now be meeting at the Little Theatre 9-10am. Everyone is welcome to join in or simply enjoy the music.

The New London area Merchants welcome Snappy & Pappy's Occasional Shop to the New London community. They are open the 2nd & 3rd weeks of the month, Tues.-Fri.10am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm. Sunday, August 10 ::: Green Lake Triathalon. Race day check-in begins at 6:30am at Zorbaz in Spicer. See their website for more information, including online registration.

Tuesday, August 12, 7am-8pm::: Election Primaries. Voting in New London takes place at City Hall, 20 First Avenue SW.

Friday, August 15, 4-6:30pm ::: Glen Oaks 50th Anniversary Celebration. Watch for more info on the celebration activities, which will include family fun such as Fiddler, Face Painting and a silent auction. Grace Living Community of Glen Oaks is located at 100 Glen Oaks Drive, New London.

Friday, August 15, 5pm - ? ::: Chairs Gone Wild Auction. Come for Spicer's Adirondack Chair Auction held at Glacial Ridge Winery. Food and wine will be available, music starts at 5pm, the auction begins at 6:30pm.

Saturday, August 16, noon-7pm ::: New London Music Festival. Located at Neer Park in New London, enjoy a full day of Country and Bluegrass music with activities for the whole family. Aug.22, 23, 29, 30 at 7:30 pm, Aug.24 & 31 Sunday Matinee 2pm ::: The Wonderful Toto of Oz Play Production. This new adaptation of Frank L. Baum’s "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" tells the story from Toto's point of view and was written specifically for the New London Little Theatre stage. Tickets: $15 adults, $10 teens 12-18. $5 children under 12. Available at Mord's Hardware in New London and Whitney Music in Willmar (or at the door on show nights). Saturday, September 6 ::: Prairie Pothole Day. This family event, which was designed to benefit MN waterfowl and wetlands, includes rock climbing, games, raffles and more.
