Tuesday Table: Every Tuesday 6-6:30pm, this free community meal gives area folks a chance to dine, visit and enjoy and night out. The Link activity's regular schedule is:

  • 1st Tuesday - Our Lady of the Lakes, Spicer
  • 2nd Tuesday - Evangelical Cov.Church, New London
  • 3rd Tuesday - Faith Lutheran Church, Spicer
  • 4th Tuesday - Peace Lutheran Church, New London
  • 5th Tuesday - Hope Presbyterian Church, Spicer

Friday Night Soup Night: Free live music at Glacial Ridge Winery on Fridays. Come out to enjoy wine and homemade soup. Soup starts at 5pm and music will begin at 6pm.

Welcome new owner, Leah Michaelis, to Jack's. The coffee shop's name has now changed to
Lake Affect Coffee.

Camille's Closet, the women's clothing consignment shop, has now opened in the previous Angels&Ivy location.

November 25-27 ::: No NL-S School .

Thursday, November 26 ::: Thanksgiving . Most area businesses closed on this holiday to give thanks for our blessings.

Friday, Novemeber 27 ::: Black Friday . Check with individual businesses on specials during this biggest shopping day of the year.

Saturday, November 28 ::: Small Business Saturday . Support the little guy. Come out for the kind of shopping, specials and service that only a small business can offer.

Sunday, December 6 ::: Saint Nicholas Day. His spirit of giving inspired the Santa Claus we have today.

Saturday, Dec.12, 7pm ::: High 48's Christmas Bluegrass Concert . Music that combines the soulful sound of classic bluegrass with a modern attitude, original songs and more at the New London Little Theatre. Check out their website for more info.

Dec. 23-Jan.1 ::: NL-S Winter Break . No school during this Christmas time.
